"JT" Hey, wazup everybody. My name is Nina Truter, also known as "JT" and "Ninny". I come from Botswana. I'm a girl aged 16 and I was born on the 2nd of November, 1987. My start sign is Scorpio and I bite...I really do. I'm a learner at Tiger Kloof and I am currently in Grade 11. During my spare time I enjoy: dancing, singing, roller-blading, playing soccer, listening to Rave/Pop music, socialising, watching movies and playing basketball. My friends' names are: Kenneth, Karlyn, Eugene, Nabeelah, Santhi and my sister Ria. They are so comforting and I just love them. Hopefully after I have finished my schooling I'd love to pursue my career in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. I have a passion for traveling to places. My favourite animal is the Lion, because of it's bravery. I'm the sort of person that loves encouraging others, but also finds it hard to apply it to my own life. One of my mota's is "No matter how difficult things may get, never give up!" My favourite colour is Beige. I love watching the sunset and just viewing nature. It's extraordinary. Having been chosen to come to Mawana was great. It's unbelievably ravishing. It brings a calmness to the soul. The feeling that you experience is totally indescribable. Mawana is astounding and mind-blowing. It gives you the opportunity to discover your inner being. At first, I thought I wouldn't survive under the conditions of not being exposed to watching television for a week, but I guess being in the city too much just spoils a person hey!

Waz up guyz! My name is Maswabi Gaelejwe. My nickname is "Schweppes" and I'm 16 years old. I am a grade 10 learner, attending school at Tiger Kloof Educational Institution. I stay in South Africa in a province called Northern Cape, in a small town called Kuruman. Less about school or where I come from and more about me. I love going out meeting new people, exploring a computers mind, listening to South African House Music, also I love outdoors and being in nature. My favourite sport is basketball. Through all my life I've never had a certain type of character which I fall into, becoz I'm an up and down person who enjoys being the "DJ" at our school. Most people say that I'm funny, but I fell like a bunny. I also love hanging out at the computers searching for sponsors on the internet. I think education is the key to success and if you should never give up until u succeed or just proceed. For now, more about our trip to Mawana Nature Reserve in Botswana. I thought the trip was going to be torture, having no electricity, media coverage in the bush with only wild animals. But I discovered a person within me. A person I never knew.

"Shantz" Yello! My name is Santhi Fatchen and I'm from Mowbray College in Australia. I'll be a border at Tiger Kloof for 3 months. I love most things orange or red and squirrels. I'm a Leo, yup QUEEN of the Jungle. I have a sis (in Oz) who's a little more sane than me (not much though!). I love meeting the TK peeps but I can't remember most of their names (or I can't say them). Oh and I'm really NOT loud, it's just that everyone's ears are sensitive around me! Our group is soo FUNKY and this camp is mad, but I'm probably the only person who isn't fascinated by dung! I'm really tired though, so that's it... Oops... I'm suppose to write more. So...this camp had been awesome because I've met so many REALLY cool people, who are now some of my closest friends. We saw heaps of MAD animals and had a really AWESOME time. The Euphobians are the best cooks, and we're soooo CRAZY!! Oh yeah...Hey to all my Aussies! I love you all and I miss you! See you all soon! Hugs and Kisses!!! Shantz Done...

Hi, my name is Claudelle Anthony and I’m from Vryburg (South Africa, North West.) I was born on the 23rd of September 1989. I am the second born of two wonderful parents. My best qualities are being friendly, caring and patient; my worst qualities are that I am very lazy and I hate getting up early. I enjoy shopping, swimming, reading and making new acquaintances. My favorite colour is pink as it represents calmness. My nu-clear family is my father, Brendon, my mother, Moira, my sisters, Kennidean and Clevone. My goals in life are to learn to speak two additional languages (French and Setswana), overcome my fears for spiders, and at least meet two new good friends. I’m currently in Tiger Kloof in grade 9. I have amazing friends and they are Tiffany, Hester, Stephanie, Fabiola and Suraya. When I finish my matric, I would love to study medicine and become a pediatrician. When I was chosen to go to Botswana (Mawana), I was very surprised and didn’t know what to expect. But when we arrived in Mawana… we were received with hospitality and kindness. I was a bit worried about the weak without electricity, but I managed. During my stay at Mawana I saw a lot of interesting animals such as elephants, elopes, water bucks, kudu, bush buck and a lot more. It was a wonderful experience to see all the various animals. Some of my treasured moments at Mawana were when we had the game drives. I had a marvelous time and I’ll never forget it!!

"Stix" Hi (stutter a bit) peeps of the cyber world. My name is Tshepang Molamu but you can call me anything like "Stix", "Logs", "Trees", "Bushes" and basically anything you can think of from the top. I'm a 16 year old from South Africa, in North West province, in Vryburg, in Tiger Kloof. I hate a lot of things but I enjoy basketball, dancing, poetry, computers, laughing, sleeping, eating, and making noise. My star sign is Gemini yeah, you know the twins. Right now I'm smoking a pencil! The consequences of not knowing what to write. I can't describe myself right now but just look out for a stick that Stix (Shwakar broe). I'm from a family of 8, with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I am the last born, you feel me, the naughty monkey! I've ran out of words to say so Hola 7, to all you crazy people out there! Jaaaa! The first thing that impressed me, on this trip, was how my group was put together. Our teamwork came from 5 people, who have different cultures, backgrounds, and even languages, but it was awesome, shwakar combination. And one thing that also caught my eyes, was how the progression out here was. Just like the city life, with a little bit of extras like quietness, tranquility, views and lots more. Fokus!!
